MONTVILLE, Ohio — Montville police are searching for the driver responsible in an alleged hit-and-run accident from earlier this week in Medina County.
The incident happened shortly after 9 p.m. Monday as police say the semi rear-ended a vehicle in the area of Medina Road and Normandy Park Drive.
Although nobody was hurt during the crash, police say the vehicle that was struck has “notable damage.”
“A witness said that after stopping briefly to examine his truck, the driver fled south on I-71, blacking out all of the lights on the truck,” police said in a Facebook post.
Police say the red truck features many unique and distinctive red and amber lights. It was also towing an empty low-boy equipment trailer.
Anybody with information or may recognize the semi from a local work site is asked to call authorities at 330-725-8314 ext. 1607.
