ELYRIA, Ohio — Two men were arrested and fentanyl was seized in Lorain on Tuesday morning as a part of a drug investigation by the Elyria Police Department.
According to a release, 28-year-old Aalijah J. Rico was arrested by the Elyria Police Department, Lorain Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Ohio Adult Parole Authority at approximately 9:15 a.m. Rico was arrested at 2710 W 27th St., Lorain, Ohio and has been charged with a count of Trafficking in Fentanyl, a first-degree felony.
Additionally, 29-year-old Jose O. Robles at 1555 E 30th St, Lorain. Robles was arrested with a City of Lorain Bench Warrant. More than 905 grams of Fentanyl and a 9mm handgun were recovered.
The arrests and charges come as the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
