CANTON, Mich. — A 28-year-old man is in custody Wednesday for the murder of a 37-year-old man.
U.S. Marshals located Kyle Flowers at hotel in Canton, Michigan. Flowers is wanted in the June 1 murder of 37-year-old Frank Lyons Jr. According to police, Flowers fatally shot Lyons Jr. while he was sitting in a car near East 70th Street and Quimby Avenue.
At the scene, Lyons was found in the driver's seat of a car that had crashed. He suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to University Hospital for treatment. He was pronounced dead the following day.
His passenger, a 28-year-old woman who has not been identified, told police the two were driving when a man shot at them from a field and she returned fire.
Considered armed and dangerous, Flowers was named fugitive of the week Monday by the The Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force.
