A 35-year-old man wanted for multiple sex crimes has been apprehended by the U.S. Marshals' Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF).
The task force arrested Desmond Beasley without incident on Tuesday morning at a home in the 800 block of High Street in Bedford.
Beasley is facing dozens of criminal charges, including eight counts of rape, four counts of sexual battery, and one count of attempted rape. Many of his victims, who range in age from 13 to 18 years old, were his former students from the dance studio he worked at, Dance Dance Dance in Parma.

Members of the U.S. Marshals task force began looking at every possible lead into Beasley’s whereabouts, including the possibility that he may have left the state. He was transported to the Cuyahoga County jail where he will remain until his court appearances.
“Anyone who preys on children will be a top priority of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. No stone will go unturned until predators like this are off the streets," U.S. Marshal Pete Elliot said in a release announcing Beasley's arrest.
If anyone has information regarding crimes committed by Desmond Beasley, please contact your local police department or the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office.
