ELYRIA, Ohio — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who is wanted for a shooting in which two people were hurt in Elyria late Monday night.
It was around 11 p.m. when officers responded to the scene in the 100 block of Bohannon Court in regards to shots fired.
“Upon arrival, on-scene officers located two victims who sustained gunshot wounds,” police said in a press release. “Officers rendered first aid to both victims until LifeCare arrived.”
Both were taken to the hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not reported.
Police say 18-year-old Theo Ramon Thomas Jr., who has been identified as the suspect, fled the scene.
Multiple charges are being filed against him, according to police, including felonious assault, improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation and tampering with evidence.
Police warn that Thomas should be considered armed and dangerous.
