MEDINA, Ohio — A popular Northeast Ohio attraction has announced its temporary closure amid the coronavirus pandemic.
On Saturday, Castle Noel took to its Facebook announcing that it would temporarily close out of an "abundance of concern for our guests and staff."
The decision comes after the state has seen a spike in Coronavirus cases in the past week. As of Sunday, there are more the 49,000 Coronavirus cased with nearly 3,000 deaths in the state of Ohio. The 21-day average of cases reported is 540.
"Due to the recent significant rise in cases of covid 19 and out of abundance of concern for our guests and staff, we will be temporarily closed. We look forward to seeing all of you as soon as possible. Please check out Facebook for updates," their Facebook post read.
Castle Noel is known as "America's largest indoor year-round Christmas entertainment attraction. The festive company has not announced when it plans to reopen.
