North Canton restaurant temporarily closes after staff members possibly exposed to COVID-19

Twisted Citrus says that they will reopen after the July 4 holiday.

CANTON, Ohio — Over the past week, the state of Ohio has seen a spike in coronavirus cases. The new cases are forcing local businesses to reevaluate their reopening practices.

On Sunday, Twisted Citrus in North Canton announced that it would temporarily closed after several of its staff members attended a celebration and were exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

"Because such a high number of staff from this location were present and possibly exposed, we have decided it would be best to close this location temporarily in order to give these individuals time to quarantine and test themselves ," the restaurant explained.

Twisted Citrus says that they will reopen after the July 4 holiday. Their Tuscarawas Street TD’s Tailgate Grill location and That 80’s Bar remain open.
