After announcing they were only offering takeout options starting Dec. 18 amid COVID concerns, Chef Douglas Katz says Zhug in Cleveland Heights has provided an update saying the location is now temporarily closed to "clean and sanitize the restaurant to ensure the safety of our community and staff."
Takeout service will resume Wednesday, Dec. 29, according to an update on Instagram that was posted Tuesday night.
"As of now, we plan to stick with takeout service only, until Feb. 1," the Instagram post declared. "Once again, we appreciate your understanding and continued support as we do our best to navigate through these unprecedented times."
