Johnson was found with several gunshot wounds to the head and neck, and was unresponsive and not breathing.
When EMS arrived, they determined that Johnson had died, and she was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Cleveland Division of Police's Homicide Unit was dispatched to the scene, and interviewed multiple witnesses and individuals who had seen the woman.
U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “A senseless act of violence such as this will not be tolerated in the city of Cleveland or anywhere in our communities in Northern Ohio. Our task force will continue to work together with our local partners to ensure that as soon as violent fugitives such as this are identified, they are arrested and brought to justice.”
