AKRON, Ohio — An Akron man was arrested on Tuesday after the Summit County Sheriff's Detective Bureau received a tip that he had downloaded child pornography.
According to a release from the Summit County Sheriff's Office, the tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force led detectives to an IP address at the Akron residence of 23-year-old Kanden Mancino.
During a search of Mancino's house, officials say Summit County Sheriff's detectives found "several images" of suspected child pornography.
Mancino was arrested and charged with pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.
He was booked into the Summit County Jail. The Summit County Sheriff's Office says more charges are pending the outcome of its investigation.
