AKRON, Ohio — Akron police announced the filing of murder and felonious assault charges against a man currently in custody at the Summit County Jail on unrelated charges.
Police say 34-year-old Aaron Feaster emerged as a person of interest in the death of 42-year-old Michael Zaro in an incident that took place on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Officers were sent to the 800 block of Oberlin Street at approximately 5:25 a.m. on Tuesday morning. After police arrived at the scene, they were told that at least one resident reported "hearing a possible altercation nearby."
"While searching the area, officers located an unidentified adult male, deceased, inside a tent behind the vacant home. The victim had signs of trauma, which leads Investigators to believe the circumstances surrounding the death are suspicious," police noted.
