AKRON, Ohio — A 20-year-old man has died following a double shooting in the 1200 block of McMillan Circle in Akron late Thursday night.
Akron police officials say it was around 10:40 p.m. when they responded to a call that shots had been fired. Upon their arrival, officers found the man dead inside an apartment. The man, who had multiple gunshot wounds, was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:03 p.m.
His name has not yet been released.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy.
Officers said they also located a 24-year-old woman who had been shot in the foot. She was taken to an Akron hospital for treatment.
At this time, no suspects have been identified.
