AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Police Department is asking for help from the community with finding a suspect after the Right to Life of Northeast Ohio in Akron was vandalized earlier this month.
A video posted to the Akron Police Department's Facebook page showed a suspect spray painting "anti-police obscenities" and threatening messages on the sidewalk outside of the Right to Life as well as on the building.
Police say the suspect also broke the windows of the building, which is located in the 500 block of West Market Street. The Akron Police Department stated that the vandalism incident happened on July 8.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact Akron Police Department Detective Sergeant Michael Joyner at 330-375-2464, the ADP Tip Line at 330-375-2TIP or the Summit County Crimestoppers at 330-434-COPS. Individuals can also text TIPSCO with their tips to 274637.
