The Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office is investigating after the body of a woman was found under a bridge on Monday afternoon.

Sheriff's deputies say the woman's body was found wrapped in a tarp under the bridge on South Windsor Road. She was discovered wearing nothing but a red bra.

The woman is 5'8", weighs approximately 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black curly hair. She is estimated to be between the age of 25 to 30 years old. Her body has been sent to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy and a possible identification.

Deputies were called to the scene shortly before 5:00 p.m. for a call about a naked man walking in a field near South Windsor Road. The man told deputies he had found a dead body under the bridge.

The investigation is ongoing.
