ASHTABULA COUNTY, Ohio — Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the deaths of a man and woman whose bodies were discovered by a passerby in the New Lyme Wildlife area in New Lyme Township in Ashtabula County.
Sunday morning, the troopers from the State Patrol's Warren District Office of Criminal Investigations were called to the wildlife area to investigate two bodies lying on the ground. The bodies of a male and female were found next to a minivan at the New Lyme Wildlife area. Troopers found a firearm and both bodies appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound.
Troopers have identified the male as 34-year-old Wesley A. Thomas of Orwell and the female as 31-year-old Samantha L. Faidley of Orwell. Homicide-suicide is suspected but the deaths are still under investigation.
