CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating a car accident that sent two police officers to the hospital.
Just after 1 p.m. on Friday, January 21, two officers in a 2020 Ford Explorer were traveling north on Eddy Road near St. Clair Avenue with emergency lights and sirens on when they were struck by a 2006 Nissan Murano at an intersection.
The driver and the passenger of the police vehicle, both 29 years old, were transported to University Hospitals for head and neck pain.
The driver of the Nissan, identified as an 18-year-old woman, refused treatment.
