CLEVELAND — A 32-year-old man was fatally shot in Cleveland on Saturday.
According to Cleveland Police, officers responded to 3527 East 154th Street at 1:25 p.m. for a report of a male shot. Upon arrival, officers found the man being treated by EMS. He was then transported to UH, where he was pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the victim’s family members were involved in an altercation at the address earlier and that the victim and his sister later returned to the address to look for property that had been lost during the altercation.
The victim was confronted by a male suspect in the yard, with a fight ensuing. The suspect then allegedly pulled out a gun, shooting the victim in the neck.
Authorities have identified a 19-year-old male suspect in the incident, with no arrests having been made at this time. An investigation remains ongoing.
