41-year-old man dies in Cleveland after suffering gunshot wound to face

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, a reward of up to $5,000 may be available for information leading to the capture of suspects.

CLEVELAND — An investigation is underway after a 41-year-old man died late Thursday morning after being shot in Cleveland.

EMS crews responded to the 2600 block of Loop Drive in the Flats around 10:55 a.m. When police officers arrived at the scene, the Cleveland Division of Fire was giving aid to the victim after he suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, the male was pronounced dead shortly after first responders arrived. He has since been identified at Cleveland native William Little.

Witnesses claimed the victim was walking northbound on West 28th Street when a man in all black approached him. They then allegedly heard a gunshot and immediately saw the male dressed in black fleeing the scene. At this time, no suspects have been named in the case.

According to police, a reward of up to $5,000 may be available for information from the public.
