CLEVELAND — Cleveland fire officials say all residents safely evacuated after a two-alarm fire happened at an apartment building overnight on East 156th Street near Lakeshore Boulevard.
The Cleveland Fire Department posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) that 60 firefighters responded to the scene with crews working to minimize water damage.
Fire officials later said the cause was determined to be accidental/electrical. Damage is estimated at $50,000.
No additional details were immediately available.
