CLEVELAND — One person has died following an overnight crash on I-490 near I-77 in Cleveland.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office says 50-year-old John Dobbins was killed in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene around 11 p.m. Cleveland EMS had previously told 3News the victim was 35.
I-490 was closed for several hours while officials worked at the scene. The roadway has since reopened.
Authorities tell 3News the crash happened around 11:45 p.m. at the I-77 South exit ramp to I-490.
"Preliminary information indicates that one vehicle drove off the road, crashing into another vehicle," authorities said. "A third vehicle was also damaged during this accident."
The other occupants of the other vehicles were not injured.
