CLEVELAND — Five Cleveland residents have been displaced after an accidental fire caused significant damage to their house on Monday.
According to a post from the Cleveland Division of Fire on their X (formerly Twitter) account, an accidental fire started in the kitchen while a resident of the house was cooking. Firefighters responded to the house on East 118th Street to put out the blaze.
A total of three adults and two children were displaced as a result of the fire. The incident is estimated to have caused $35,000 in damages. No injuries were reported.
