CLEVELAND — Officials are investigating after a deadly overnight fire in Cleveland at a house near East 88th Street and Hough Avenue.
Crews from the Cleveland Division of Fire and Cleveland Division of Police responded to the call at approximately 1:10 a.m. Our 3News videographer at the scene said it appeared that the fire impacted the second floor and attic of the home.
A spokesperson for the Cleveland Division of Police says officers are working in conjunction with the Cleveland Division of Fire's arson unit to investigate the cause.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Division of Police is also investigating the case as a homicide after a female was found upstairs with a gunshot wound.
