CLEVELAND — Lt. Mike Norman of the Cleveland Fire Department says the cause of an early morning house fire that spread to adjacent homes in the 12200 block of Osceola Avenue was "determined to be accidental and most likely related to fireworks.”
A total of nine companies and more than 40 firefighters responded to the scene at 4:24 a.m. Thursday.
Lt. Mike Norman of the Cleveland Fire Department tells 3News the fire appears to have started on the second floor at one house before spreading to the neighboring properties.
All occupants were able to get out safely as Lt. Norman says the American Red Cross was requested to assist two adults and one child.
Damages were estimated at $200,000 for the initial property involved in the fire with request for demolition. Damage to the neighboring homes were estimated at $75,000 and $15,000.
