CLEVELAND — A 33-year-old woman was taken to the hospital early Thursday morning after authorities in Cleveland said she jumped from the second floor amid an overnight house fire in the 6900 block of Worley Avenue.
3News has learned the call came in around 12:39 a.m.
We’re told EMS took the woman to MetroHealth Medical Center in stable condition.
Officials said four adults and four children were able to escape the fire, which was in a stairway that blocked the exit for residents upstairs. That resulted in two people jumping from the second floor porch down to a parked car.
Investigators said it appears the fire was set intentionally, with damage estimated at $50,000.
No firefighters were hurt.
