It’s never too early to start training for a marathon -- and now runners can start preparing for the 46th annual Union Home Mortgage Cleveland Marathon with a date in mind.
It was announced on Tuesday morning that the 2023 Cleveland Marathon will take place on Sunday, May 21. The half marathon will be taking place on the same day with the races beginning at 7 a.m. That won’t be the only running challenge that weekend, as the 5K and 10K are set for the day before on Saturday, May 20, with the races beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Registration is now open for next year’s races and can be found at clevelandmarathon.com.
Early bird pricing is available now through July 16, with the full marathon costing $85, the half marathon for $75, the 10K for 45 and the 5K for just $35. It has not yet been announced what prices will be once early bird pricing expires.
