CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect and vehicle involved in an incident that left a man seriously injured early Monday morning in the Flats.
According to officials, the 28-year-old victim was on West 9th Street outside the crosswalk when he was hit by a white pickup truck headed towards Frankfort Avenue around 2:15 a.m. The truck then sped away as the individual laid on the ground.
The victim was taken by ambulance to MetroHealth Medical Center with injuries that included a skull fracture. Authorities have yet to provide any additional information.
Anyone with knowledge as to who the suspect might be is asked to immediately call the Cleveland Division of Police at (216) 621-1234.
