CLEVELAND — A woman died after falling out of a moving vehicle on I-90 West in Cleveland in the early hours of Sunday morning, police said.
Cleveland police said dispatch received a call reporting "unknown trouble" around 12:04 a.m. Sunday. When officers arrived, they found a woman who had fallen out of a car near West 44th Street "for reasons yet to be determined," a police spokesperson told 3News.
"Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene," the spokesperson said. "To facilitate the investigation, a section of the highway was temporarily closed while investigators cleared the area."
Police did not release any information about the identity of the victim.
The circumstances of the incident remain under investigation by Cleveland police.
