Delta Air Lines returning nonstop service from Cleveland to Salt Lake City this fall

The new daily service from CLE to Salt Lake City begins on Nov. 24. Tickets are now on sale.

CLEVELAND — Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) will soon add another nonstop route to its growing list of destinations.

On Monday, Delta Air Lines announced that it has brought back nonstop service from CLE to Salt Lake City (SLC). The Cleveland to Salt Lake City route was last operated by Delta in January of 2022.

“We are thrilled our partner at Delta Air Lines will be resuming this service to one of our top underserved markets,” said Bryant L. Francis, C.M., Director of Port Control, in a release. “This addition not only offers Clevelanders nonstop service to Salt Lake City, but also provides dozens of additional connecting points beyond.”

According to the release, some of those "connecting points" include "numerous destinations in the Mountain West, U.S. West Coast, Western Canada and Hawaii."

So when can Clevelanders take advantage of the new nonstop service to Salt Lake City?

The new daily service will begin on November 24, departing Cleveland at 7:45 a.m. and arriving in Salt Lake City at 10:18 a.m. The return flight will leave SLC at 5:20 p.m. and touch down at Hopkins at 10:57 p.m.

"Delta Air Lines offers First, Comfort +, and economy class seating options on the 160-seat Boeing 737-800 operating this route," Hopkins Airport officials note.

Tickets for the CLE to SLC service are on sale now.
