CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating the drivers and vehicles connected with a deadly pedestrian crash that happened early during the weekend.
Police say the incident happened around 2:25 a.m. Sunday as a 36-year-old woman was walking on Superior Avenue “when two unidentified vehicles, which appeared to be racing eastbound, collided in a same-direction sideswipe.”
Police say one of those vehicles then struck the woman. She died as a result of the incident.
“Both drivers of the vehicles failed to stop following the collision,” police continued.
Authorities have since released an image of the suspect vehicles Monday morning.
Anybody with information is asked to call Cleveland police accident investigators at 216-623-5290. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
