CLEVELAND — A woman has died after being found with a gunshot wound in a house fire in Cleveland on Tuesday morning.
Cleveland Fire responded to the fire in the 138th block of Caine Avenue at approximately 9:46 a.m. Upon entry, they discovered a woman with a gunshot wound to the head.
Cleveland Fire told 3News' Isabel Lawrence that the female victim was removed from the home and transported to MetroHealth. She was later pronounced deceased.
The Cleveland Division of Police told Lawrence that the incident is being investigated as a suicide.
