In July, 3News' Neil Fischer spoke with residents as they cleaned up the damage left by severe storms in Northeast Ohio.
Many residents told 3News that this was the third time their homes had been flooded in three weeks. Residents allege that the flooding isn't from the storm, but from how the city handles the water during the aftermath.
“It’s 100% not from the storm dropping precipitation at a time,” said Chris Tarr. “It’s the city's inability to deal with the water that does get dropped by the storm.”
However, residents say that the city told them the flooding wasn't their problem, but rather the homeowners' issue.
