City of Beachwood provides residents with free cloth masks

The city purchased 10,000 masks for residents.

BEACHWOOD, Ohio — In an effort to assist Beachwood residents help stop the spread of COVID-19, free masks will be available this Sunday through Tuesday.

Beachwood residents interested in receiving a free cloth mask for each member of their household should go to the Beachwood City Hall parking lot at 25325 Fairmount Blvd. on Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday, June 8, 2020 from  2:00 pm to 6:00 pm or  Tuesday, June 9 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Signs will be posted to explain the process.

Residents will be asked to show their driver's license or a utility bill dated within the past 45 days through a car window.

Masks will be distributed via no contact.

Once residency is confirmed, residents should pop their car trunk open as they remain in their vehicles or roll down a back window to receive a mask.
