CLEVELAND — UPDATE:
The US Coast Guard announced on their X (formerly Twitter) account Saturday night that they recovered the body of the missing diver at approximately 7:45 p.m.
The diver's identity has yet to be revealed.

The Cleveland Division of Fire along with the US Coast Guard (USCG) is currently searching for a missing diver off the coast of Lake Erie on Saturday.
According to a spokesperson from Cleveland Fire, the search is being conducted approximately 6-8 miles off of Euclid Beach. The USCG has conducted sonar sweeps and search patterns, but has yet to locate the diver.
The diver went missing during a recreational dive, according to a press release.
No additional information has been revealed at this time. 3News will continue to provide updates as more information is released.
