Stoll and Mundson's pre-trial is set for Nov. 3 at 9 a.m.
The group is facing charges after two incidents that began on March 31, 2022, when Mundson attempted to execute a traffic stop in East Cleveland. Stoll also assisted Mundson with the pursuit where a victim was arrested near Galewood Avenue and Ingalton Avenue in Cleveland.
Another officer claimed that the victim hit the front of his car during the pursuit, but body camera video from the arrest shows that the victim had parked his vehicle and complied with the officer after being stopped.
Body camera video also revealed that officer Wood and Stoll allegedly removed the victim forcefully from his vehicle and showed Wood ramming the rear side of the victim's vehicle.
Stoll is accused of physically assaulting the victim by punching him and kneeing him in his head and torso while Mundson assisted in hand-cuffing the victim.
A second incident happened on April 10, 2022, after another officer pulled over a 25-year-old in East Cleveland for a traffic stop, which Stoll and Mundson also responded to.
Officers had reported that the victim hit the police cruiser during a pursuit that ended near 152nd Street and Lakeshore Boulevard in Cleveland. Body camera footage, however, allegedly revealed that an officer had hit the victim's vehicle, which caused the crash. The victim was also complying with the officers during the arrest.
Bodycam footage below:
Stoll is accused of assaulting the man before placing him in the back of the police cruiser. The victim asked for medical attention and called 911 on his cell phone. Cleveland EMS responded to the scene but was sent away by the East Cleveland police officers.
Cleveland Division of Police responded and had EMS transport the victim to the hospital, despite East Cleveland's initial refusal.
Since late August, nine former or current East Cleveland officers, including police chief Scott Gardner are facing criminal charges.
