The North Olmsted Police Department announced the recovery of a 15-year-old girl Wednesday afternoon.
Hannah Honeycutt, who was missing for nearly three months, was located by The United States Marshal’s Sex Offender and Missing Child Investigations Unit in Mansfield, Ohio.
According to the North Olmsted Police Department, Honeycutt is safe and was turned over to the Erie County Children's Services office.
In a release from the North Olmsted Police Department, they expressed their gratitude to the US Marshal’s Sex Offender and Missing Child Investigations Unit for safely finding Honeycutt in this matter.
Honeycutt’s foster parents initially reported her missing on Friday, Jan. 21. Upon going missing, the last place she was seen was leaving a North Olmsted Basketball game.
