NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — In a tradition that dates back to the end of World War II, North Olmsted will host its annual Homecoming Festival from Aug. 24-27.
Money made from the four-day event, which will take place at the North Olmsted Community Park located at 28114 Lorain Rd., will go toward scholarships, improvements in the city's parks and community. The event is hosted by North Olmsted Community, a non-profit organization.
The annual car show will take place on Thursday, Aug. 24, with the art show on Friday, Aug. 25, "A Taste of North Olmsted" from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26 and the homecoming parade at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27. This year's theme is "There's No Place Like Home."
Additionally, there will be musical performances throughout the event and rides from Big O Amusement. A full list of events and activities and ticket pricing information can be found here.
