ORANGE, Ohio — A Cuyahoga County grand jury has indicted Ryan Kellogg, an Orange Village man accused of spraying antisemitic graffiti.

Kellogg was arrested on Monday, Oct. 28, in connection with multiple incidents of homes being vandalized in Orange Village.

He was indicted in Cuyahoga County on the following charges:

  • 2 counts of menacing by stalking
  • 5 counts of vandalism
  • 1 count of ethnic intimidation

Kellogg was arrested on Monday, Oct. 28, after a police officer was in the same neighborhood where a house was previously targeted and saw Kellogg allegedly going up to the same home and spraying it again.

The officer identified the suspect as Kellogg and began chasing him. Kellogg was later caught as his own residence.

Previously, Orange Village police told 3News that two homes in the same neighborhood had been spray-painted, with one being "marked with a symbol of Jewish hate."

Kellong's attorney, Michael J. Goldberg, previously denied the charges against him, saying, "The evidence will show that the hateful symbol did not come from Mr. Kellogg." Goldberg also chastised Orange Mayor Judson Kline and others for, in his words, "jumping to legal conclusions without a full and complete investigation," and called for Kline to apologize after Kellogg is "exonerated" from what Goldberg is calling "harmful and unfounded" allegations.

Kellogg will be arraigned at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center on Nov. 19 at 8:30 a.m.
