SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — A Shaker Heights City Schools bus crashed into a telephone pole on Monday morning. The driver and one other adult passenger were on board at the time of the crash, with no injuries having been reported at this time.

The Shaker Heights School District told 3News that it is believed that the bus may have skidded on some ice before leaving the roadway and striking the pole and that the accident remains under investigation. The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. at Glencairn Road & Chagrin Boulevard.
As a result of the accident, Chagrin Boulevard remained closed in both directions between Lynnfield and Palmerston before reopening just after 3 p.m.
