Eastlake bar receives third citation for violating health orders

Vybez Lounge had previously been cited twice in December, and could now lose its liquor license.

EASTLAKE, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) cited B&H Events & Party Center LLC, known as Vybez Lounge, on Sunday morning for improper conduct in regards to current state health orders. 

According to a release sent out from the OSHP, agents issued the citation after arriving at the lounge around 12:10 a.m. and finding roughly 200 people inside the venue.

Officers say that patrons were being permitted to dance, congregate, and sit anywhere with little to no social distancing measures put in place. 

Vybez Lounge has received two previous citations for improper conduct- disorderly activity, as well as another citation that resulted from the investigation of a police case.  

The case will go to the Ohio Liquor Control Commission for any potential penalties, fines, or suspension/removal of liquor permits.
