CLEVELAND — Looking for a job? The Cleveland Metroparks are hiring!
It's been a tough year for many businesses when it comes to hiring -- and the Cleveland Metroparks are feeling it as well.
"Just like everyone else, we've faced a big shortage this year," said Jarrod McCarthy, Director of Enterprise for the Metroparks. "Everybody is competing for the same workforce."
Merwin's Wharf was forced to close during the summer to shift limited staff to other Metroparks locations. Now that the holiday season has arrived, it's shifting workers back to Merwin's Wharf for the second annual Winter RiverFest -- but help is still needed.
Currently, they are primarily looking to hire kitchen staff, hosts/hostess, bartenders and servers.
According to McCarthy, no primary experience is necessary.
"All we ask for is people that work hard and show up. We can teach you the rest of the skills."
