2 injured after suffering gunshot wounds in Lorain Tuesday night

The injuries are considered non-life-threatening. Both are expected to recover.

LORAIN, Ohio — A 17-year-old boy and 24-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in a parking lot on the 200 block of East Erie Avenue in the City of Lorain Tuesday night.

Lorain police officers responded to the parking lot and found both victims awake and responsive.

The 24-year-old was life flighted to an undisclosed hospital in Cleveland. The 17-year-old was treated at Mercy Hospital in Lorain.

Both are expected to recover from their injuries.

According to the Lorain Police Department, additional information on the incident is currently being withheld while an investigation in on-going.
