The Lorain Police Department is seeking the public's help identifying a man wanted in a gas station shooting.
Officials responded to the gas station in the 2800 block of Broadway Avenue and Mercy Medical Hospital on Sunday for a shooting around 4:30 p.m. At the scene, police learned that the victim, a 23-year-old man, suffered life threatening gun shot wounds.
According to police, the victim whos is not being identified at this time, had likely been shot at the gas station and drove himself to hospital. The man was later life flighted to a Cleveland area hospital in critical condition.
Police have identified the Black man wearing a sleeveless white t-shirt, seen in the photo above as a person of interest in the shooting.
