STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — Strongsville Police are investigating after a drive-by shooting that took place in broad daylight on Monday afternoon.
Initial calls began coming in via dispatch around 11:50 a.m., reporting multiple injuries from a felonious assault, which occurred in the area of the intersection of Pearl Road and Albion Road. The caller, identified by police as Christina Rogers, told dispatch that she and two others were injured.

Officers and EMS were sent to the scene and found that Rogers was traveling southbound in a vehicle on Pearl Road when another vehicle pulled up on the right side and began firing several shots into her car. According to police dispatch reports, Rogers was wounded in the leg, while one child was hit in the arm and another was grazed in the forehead. Police describe the wounds as "non-life-threatening" injuries.
All three were taken to MetroHealth following the incident.
3News sent crews out to the scene on Monday and were able to visually confirm a police presence within the area of the Docere Spa & Laser Center on Pearl Road.
The matter remains under investigation by Strongsville PD.
