CLEVELAND — Summer is almost here and for some Northeast Ohio children, the upcoming break from school may also mean losing access to nutritious meals.
The Greater Cleveland Food Bank's annual Summer Feeding Program aims to address that problem by delivering daily breakfasts and lunches to over 100 locations when school is not in session. The food bank announced Thursday the program will launch at several sites on June 3, with more locations set to open later in the month.
The food bank says many of the children the organization feeds during its summer program rely on school-subsidized breakfast and lunch programs during the school year.
Here are the locations where kids aged under 18 can receive meals. Locations are organized by county.
