WAYNE COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — A 14-year-old boy is dead after a crash involving a tractor took place in Baughman Township.
The incident happened at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash.
When troopers arrived, they found the 14-year-old driver dead at the scene of the crash.
An initial investigation revealed that the tractor was traveling north on Tannerville Road when it veered off the right side of the roadway, striking an embankment and wooden utility pole.
The tractor overturned onto its left side before coming to a rest completely overturned onto its top side.
Drugs and/or alcohol do not appear to be a factor, according to law enforcement.
