CLEVELAND — Here at WKYC Studios, we are proud to partner with 3News Contributor Matt Kaulig, Executive Chairman and Owner of the Kaulig Companies, on our ongoing "Power of Inspiration" series which aims to shine a light on the people and organizations making a difference, and making Northeast Ohio a better place.
This past year, we featured the incredible work being done by organizations like the Ben Curtis Family Foundation, Urban Community School, the Kaulig Companies Championship and the many local nonprofits it supports, C.C. Sabathia's PitCCh In Foundation, NASCAR's Speedy Bear Brigade and the Cleveland Browns youth flag football program.
Matt stopped by the studio Tuesday to also highlight NEOPAT, an incredible organization that promotes patriotism by raising dollars to serve the needs of local military families. To help with that mission, Kaulig Giving adopted a military family for Christmas, and went shopping with local St. Angela students to tackle this very deserving family's Christmas list.
We also celebrated the record-breaking $1.3 million dollars raised by the Kaulig Companies Championship this year, which all goes back to 30 community non-profits.
