The Cleveland Division of Police is looking for anyone with information regarding two recent homicides within the city.
According to a release sent out on Sunday, the two crimes occurred over the previous week and there is currently no suspect information available.
On Feb. 25, officers responded to a call for a possible stolen vehicle at the corner of Broadway Avenue and Booth Avenue. Police arrived on scene around 2 a.m. and located the vehicle at the end of a no outlet street, and found the car empty. Officers also found blood in the car and drag marks away from the vehicle. Following the drag marks, police found a 20-year-old man deceased with a gunshot wound to the head.
This investigation is ongoing.
On Feb. 27, officers responded to the 6100 Block of Haltnorth Walk for calls of a male shot. EMS found the 51-year-old man and provided care until he was taken to MetroHealth and pronounced dead.
Residents told police that they recalled hearing gunshots, but did not see the homicide take place.
This investigation is ongoing as well.
