Children taken from Stark County hotel found safe, AMBER Alert canceled

STARK COUNTY, Ohio — Two children who were taken from a hotel in Jackson Township in Stark County have been found and are safe, police confirm.

Authorities say the incident took place on the 4600 block of Everhard Road at around 5:50 p.m., triggering an AMBER Alert. The two boys, both ages 2 and under, were allegedly taken by 27-year-old Zachary Dean Parker, described as "armed and dangerous."

Around 7:10 p.m., officials confirmed to 3News that both toddlers are okay and back in the care of their mother. It is unknown if Parker will face any charges.
