CANTON, Ohio — The Canton Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two people injured Friday night, a news release said.
It happened just after 6:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Wertz Avenue N.W.
Officers were called to a home there for a report of a shooting. Once there, they found two men with "several" gunshot wounds, the release said.
The men were taken to area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, detectives were able to identify a 16-year-old suspect and obtained a search warrant for his arrest. A 13-year-old girl was also arrested at the shooting scene for obstructing justice.
At this time, police are still looking for the teenage male suspect.
