NORTH CANTON, Ohio — North Canton police say icy roads contributed to two accidents Friday night.
Police say that shorty after 6:30 P.M., they were called for a two-car crash at Everhard Road SW. Just before arriving, they received another call for a male pedestrian hit by a car at the same location.
Officers report that appears the male pedestrian, a 73-year old man, was trying to help those in the first accident when he was hit by another car.
He was taken to an area hospital. There is no word on his condition.
No other injuries are being reported.
